Fort McMurray is our Home

Each year we host and work events that Fort McMurray has come to expect from us. 

 

12 years ago we started the Free Family Skate.  On select dates, all winter long, you can go to the Suncor Community Leisure Centre and expect to see a friendly King's Kids staff person or volunteer there to whisk you through your afternoon.   The skate is sponsored by many local businesses, making it possible for us to bring free hot chocolate, coffee, candy and prizes to you, the great people of Fort McMurray. 

Due to the COVID 19 skating is on hold.  We have been unable to secure the ice rental, but stay tuned for further updates in the new year.

Again due to COVID 19 many of our events had to be put on hold, Easter Egg Hunt, Harvest Festival, and the Winter Festival.

We were fortunate to be able to hold the LionHeart Performing Arts Camps in July in both Fort McMurray and Fort Chipewyan.  Please stay tuned for more events in the future.

In September 2020, after a year of prayer and community consultation we launched All Nations Church in Fort McMurray.  Pastor Rick and Cathy Kirschner have been joined by over 80 people who have committed to make this church a reality.  For more information go to https://www.allnationschurch.co/
